Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress, best famous for her portrayal of the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medical drama The Resident. Also, she was recognized for her TV debut as Eleni Andros cooper on the soap opera of CBS Guiding Light. Some of her most notable films are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly developing a movie adaptation of writer Elisabeth Kubler-Ross's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the pair that wrote the film Immortals. Additionally, she's making a show titled Gods & Heroes.
